Information: The 360 kickflip is a more advanced skateboarding trick. It requires lots of practice to learn how to do it consistently. The inventor of the 360 kickflip is Rodney Mullen.
Description: While rolling the skateboarder jumps and the skateboard comes off the ground and spins 360 degrees, like in a 360 shuvit. The board also flips, like with a kickflip, but the whole thing is done in one smooth motion. Technique: 1. I could do this trick for a couple season's before I got it down good, and I still don't have it that good, so be prepared for a lot of practice, unless of course your some crazy ass skater kid.
2. Put your back foot flat across the tail. Place your front foot in some type of kickflip position, but with your toes pointing more towards the nose at about a 45 degree angle.
3. Bend your knees, but try and keep your shoulders and upper body facing the direction your riding, it makes it easier to get the board to spin the full 360.
4. Pop the tail. While doing this you'll need (1) Pull you back foot towards you, this makes the board rotate 360. (2) Kick your front foot almost straight out, this makes the board filp and helps it rotate the 360.
5. Let the board do all it's spinning and flipping. Then when your landing get your feet in the right position, because it's hard to land it good. I usually try really hard to think about pulling my back foot back while in the air, so then I land with the right balance. This could work for you.
6. And now you're done!!! Just keep trying until you have got it down good before you go out and tell your friends. Additional Help:
Problem: I can't rotate the board a full 360. Reason: This trick takes a lot of power to learn. Solution: If you don't have enough power to rotate the board completely, then you'll have to make sure that you really fine tune your technique, and try as hard as you can to scoop the board, and pop it enough to get the full 360.
